Tencent has finally revealed the leading actors for their upcoming romantic drama, Shine On Me (previously known as Blazing Sunlight). Get ready to see rising stars Zhao Jinmai and Song Weilong light up the screen!
Based on a popular novel by Gu Man, the author behind hit series like Boss and Me, Love O2O, and You Are My Glory, Shine On Me promises to be another addictive love story. The drama follows Nie Xiguang (played by Zhao Jinmai), a young woman who bravely confesses her feelings for her college crush, Zhuang Xu, only to be heartbroken.
New City, New Love, New Challenges
After graduating, Nie Xiguang moves to a new city for a fresh start. She lands a job at a company, unaware that it’s owned by her father’s friend. There she meets her demanding boss, Lin Yusen (played by Song Weilong). Their relationship is full of clashes and sparks, but Nie Xiguang soon sees a different side to Lin Yusen, and feelings begin to blossom. But just as things seem to be going well, a secret from Lin Yusen’s past threatens their newfound happiness.
