K-pop group Kep1er’s member, Shen Xiaoting, surprised fans with an important announcement on her Weibo account. The 25-year-old idol shared that she has ended her contract with her Chinese agency, TOPCLASS Entertainment, after three years.
In her post, titled Begin Again, Xiaoting said this marks a new start for her career in China. This news caught many fans off guard because she had recently renewed her contract with Kep1er in mid-2024.
Xiaoting looked back on her journey from being a regular student to a survival trainee before debuting in Kep1er. She thanked TOPCLASS Entertainment and its team for their support, and she also expressed gratitude to her fans.
“Because of your love, I always give my best in every performance and stage,” she wrote.
“I’m not perfect, but I believe that as long as I always do my best, I will get better every day.”
Reports say that since leaving TOPCLASS Entertainment, Xiaoting has set up her own studio for solo activities in China, showing her strong dedication to pursuing a new phase in her career.
