Using the Space-Time Mirror, Mu Xuanling connects the present with the events of 10,000 years ago. Tianming, Zhao Ming, and their past selves each engage in conversations with their counterparts from the past. They explain their plan to kill Haotian, and the past versions of Zhao Ming, Ah Zhu, and Tianming agree to cooperate. Next, Mu Xuanling and Tianming set the stage, aligning the timelines so that both versions of Zhao Ming feign obedience to Haotian, allowing him to possess them. This brings both versions of Haotian into the same timeline.
However, Haotian sees through their plan. Mocking them, he remarks that while they may have found a method, it still won’t be enough to defeat him. Haotian begins to manipulate the two Zhao Mings psychologically, telling the past Zhao Ming that he was suppressed in the Molten Abyss, unloved and uncared for. Meanwhile, he taunts the present Zhao Ming, saying that Mu Xuanling’s heart belongs to Xie Xuechen, not him. Both Zhao Mings fall into their respective inner demons, creating a critical situation as the plan begins to unravel.
Mu Xuanling and Tianming realize they have only one incense stick’s worth of time to execute their plan. However, Haotian’s strategy is clear—he intends to stall until the time runs out, forcing each version of Zhao Ming to return to their own timeline. Desperate, Mu Xuanling proposes giving all her chaos power to Tianming so he can enter their timelines and wake them up. Tianming refuses, insisting on sacrificing himself instead. Despite her reluctance, Mu Xuanling ultimately agrees, determined to ensure Tianming’s sacrifice has meaning.
Mu Xuanling approaches the present Zhao Ming, while Ah Zhu reaches out to the past Zhao Ming. Both women try to awaken him from Haotian’s control, but Haotian’s relentless manipulation makes it nearly impossible. Left with no other choice, Mu Xuanling and Ah Zhu transfer their chaos power to Zhao Ming, breaking Haotian’s hold over him.
Awakened, both Zhao Mings confront Haotian. In a climactic showdown, the two Haotians clash with swords, ultimately killing each other. The past Zhao Ming returns to his own timeline, retracing his steps. Back in the Dongze Imperial Palace, he reunites with Ah Zhu. She reassures him that no matter what destiny awaits, she will remain by his side. Playfully, Ah Zhu suggests they could become a pair of “useless rulers and a demonic queen,” but Zhao Ming, even after knowing the painful fate awaiting him, still chooses to prioritize the world over personal happiness.
Zhao Ming tells Ah Zhu it’s time for them to part. After sharing a heartfelt embrace, Zhao Ming ascends to the heavens, wielding the Juntian Sword. He massacres the Divine Emperor and other gods, eventually confronting Tianming. The other gods plead with Tianming to control Zhao Ming. Zhao Ming asks Tianming if, now that Haotian is gone, he would still make the same decisions. Tianming answers that as the keeper of time’s cause and effect, there’s no room for hypotheticals. Zhao Ming responds with a simple “Do it.” When asked for his final words, Zhao Ming says, “I have no regrets.” He is once again suppressed in the Molten Abyss.
Later, Ah Zhu ascends to the heavens, using chaos power to follow Zhao Ming. Now aware of the events 10,000 years later, Ah Zhu confronts Tianming. She asks if he will stop her again, but Tianming tells her to do whatever she wishes. Ah Zhu inquires about Zhao Ming’s final words, and upon hearing that he said “no regrets,” she laments that even after enduring 10,000 years of suffering, he still made the same choice. This time, Ah Zhu decides not to fight. She gives the Space-Time Mirror to the Mirror Deity, bids farewell to Tianming, and descends to the mortal world, advising Tianming to enjoy his life.
After Ah Zhu’s departure, Tianming destroys the Book of Destiny, deeming it meaningless. Meanwhile, Mu Xuanling wakes up in her room and notices the spiritual-binding ring on her ankle. Stepping outside, she sees a man standing beneath the Xuanling tree. Initially hesitant, she calls out “Xie Xuechen,” but stops as she watches him use demonic energy to make the tree bloom. When the man turns around, Mu Xuanling sees that it truly is Xie Xuechen. Overcome with emotion, the two embrace and kiss joyfully, finally reunited after all their trials.
