The Demon Lord shouts, breaking through all barriers. Tianming, stunned, remarks that the Demon Lord managed to condense the power of the Nine Suns to shatter the Yujue restriction. The Demon Lord declares that neither the Molten Abyss, the power of Yujue, nor Tianming’s deadly formation can hold him back. Tianming is in disbelief that the Demon Lord destroyed his formation. Desperate, Tianming brings out his Book of Destiny to deal with the Demon Lord. The Demon Lord enters the Book of Destiny intending to destroy it, but he is confronted with the events of 10,000 years ago involving Zhao Ming and Ah Zhu. Realizing he had misunderstood Ah Zhu, who never abandoned him, the Demon Lord changes his mind and exits the Book of Destiny.
He moves to pick up the Juntian Sword but finds that the sword does not recognize him. Undeterred, the Demon Lord declares that recognition is irrelevant—he will take it regardless. Gripping the Juntian Sword, he cleaves through Tianming’s deadly formation. Afterward, the Demon Lord leaves with Mu Xuanling. Observing the aftermath, Haotian blames Tianming for defying his orders, which led to the current chaos. Speaking from the heavens, Haotian warns Tianming to either follow his plan or face destruction. Haotian then takes control of Tianming, leaving him hopeless and motionless.
At this moment, Feng Yao arrives, offering to take Tianming home. Haotian mocks Feng Yao’s audacity, claiming she cannot challenge his power. Ignoring Haotian’s threats, Feng Yao continues approaching Tianming, even as Haotian attacks her. Haotian warns that if she doesn’t stop, he will kill her. Feng Yao remains resolute and presses forward. Inspired by her actions, Tianming begins to fight back, declaring that even as Haotian’s pawn, he has the power to self-destruct, forcing Haotian to reconsider his moves. Seeing Tianming’s determination to destroy his divine consciousness, Haotian relents, removing Tianming’s emotional bond. However, Tianming refuses to stop, prompting Haotian to ask if sacrificing himself for a human is truly worth it. Haotian departs after Tianming mocks his moment of hesitation.
Tianming cradles the dying Feng Yao in his arms. She tells him she doesn’t love him, nor does he love her. Instead, she confesses her love for someone she met 11 years ago—a man holding an umbrella in the rain. Tianming watches as Feng Yao dies in his arms.
The Demon Lord returns to the Dark Realm and looks at the marriage contract he recovered. Reflecting on his past with Ah Zhu, he realizes he had lived consumed by hatred based on illusions. Suddenly, he sees a vision of Ah Zhu, who tells him that no matter who he is—Zhao Ming, the Fallen Deity, or the Demon Lord—his identity is for him to decide. She advises him to look within his heart for answers when he feels lost.
Tianming buries Feng Yao, and Xuanxin arrives to pay his respects. Tianming asks Xuanxin when he discovered Feng Yao’s identity. Xuanxin admits that his blood connection to her made him aware long ago, but he had been waiting for her to acknowledge it herself. Now, that chance is gone. As they speak, Haotian appears, declaring that Tianming cannot stop his descent. Haotian announces his imminent arrival and promises to destroy the world.
Elsewhere, Zhao Ming and Mu Xuanling notice abnormalities in the Dark Realm, suspecting the mortal world is also in chaos. Sure enough, Haotian begins targeting humanity. Crowds of people are forced into a single street, and Xuanxin leads the Immortal Alliance in protecting the citizens. Meanwhile, Gao Qiumin and Fu Lansheng arrive on an airship to assist the group.
Zhao Ming orders Yu Ying and Chi Ying to bring Tianming to him. Reunited, Tianming and Zhao Ming discuss strategies to deal with Haotian. They ultimately decide to use Haotian’s power against himself. Mu Xuanling overhears their plan and insists on joining them. She retrieves the Space-Time Mirror from the Mirror Deity, a tool capable of bringing the Haotian of 10,000 years ago into the present. Their goal: to pit the two versions of Haotian against each other and ensure mutual destruction.
