Seeing her daughter collapse before her, Dr. Zhou is overwhelmed and desperately calls out her name. Later, Yang meets a young Liu Weitao and thanks him for looking after his family. He also asks to be taken to their old friend, Officer Ye. The three friends reunite and share a lively moment together.
Meeting a young Zhang Tianming, Yang invites him and his daughter for desserts. He even suggests they form a band together. Yang also takes an interest in an old case involving Dr. Zhou, intending to bring justice where it was previously denied.
After addressing the concerns of his friends, Yang dedicates time to his family. He decides to resign from his dangerous job as a police officer and move abroad with his loved ones. However, when he spots a pickpocket on the street, his instincts take over, and he chases the thief without hesitation, showing that his heroic nature remains unchanged.
