As the parents of both families are set to meet, Xu Zhiqiang and his wife head to the market early to prepare for the occasion, busily arranging everything to welcome their future in-laws. Tang Wei and Xu Jianming arrive at the Xu household and meet Xu Junhao’s younger brother Xu Junle and sister Xu Baoyi for the first time. Although there are occasional language barriers, the overall atmosphere is cheerful and friendly.
At the dining table, Tang Wei presents Xu Zhiqiang with Tibetan medicine to alleviate his back pain. Initially, Xu Zhiqiang assumes it was arranged by Xu Jiajia, only to find out that his eldest son Xu Junhao had informed Xu Jiajia about it. Through this exchange, the two families move past initial awkwardness and engage in warm, sincere conversations. Xu Jiajia’s parents are impressed by the Xu family’s stability and sincerity. They admire Xu Zhiqiang’s hard-working nature, his wife A-Zhen’s meticulous and open-minded personality, and the outstanding qualities of their children, which makes them feel comfortable entrusting their daughter to the Xu family.
However, Tang Wei expresses some concerns, particularly about her daughter’s lack of fluency in Cantonese, while the Xu family often switches to their dialect during conversations, making it hard for outsiders to keep up. She worries that Xu Jiajia might struggle to integrate into the family. Despite this, A-Zhen gifts Xu Jiajia a grandmother’s emerald ring, a family heirloom. Moved by the Xu family’s warmth, Tang Wei ultimately agrees to the young couple’s marriage.
Returning Home with Lingering Concerns
On the way back, Tang Wei raises her concerns again to Xu Jianming, who empathizes with her perspective and suggests spending more time interacting with the Xu family to ease any doubts. Meanwhile, Xu Zhiqiang and A-Zhen also sense the hesitation from Xu Jiajia’s parents and decide to arrange another meeting to address any lingering worries. A-Zhen is overjoyed to learn that her youngest son wants to learn cooking and that her husband plans to retire and stay at home.
Tang Wei later proposes that Xu Jianming participate in a reality show run by an entertainment company. However, before she can finish her suggestion, Xu Jianming misinterprets her intentions as a desire to rekindle their marriage and immediately rejects the idea. Despite Xu Jianming’s lingering feelings for Tang Wei, he understands that they cannot go back to their past. Hearing about Xu Jianming’s issues with Li Meng, Tang Wei swallows her disappointment and advises him, based on her own experiences, on how to mend his relationship with his wife.
Romantic Troubles and Parental Guidance
In contrast, Xu Junle faces difficulties in his relationship with Mai Youge, who is preparing to leave Macau, leaving him despondent. A-Zhen comforts her son, helping him articulate his feelings and suggesting that he consider Mai Youge’s perspective, given their different backgrounds and lifestyles. She reminds him that love also depends on fate.

The Racing Drama Intensifies
On the second day of the final race, the repair crew remains in a frantic rush, but luck does not seem to favor Han Junhao. Sitting dejectedly outside the repair room, he feels lost and unsure of how to proceed. The team manager advises him to rest, though the repairs may not be complete by the next day.
Meanwhile, Chen Jiahui watches the pouring rain through the window, reminiscing about her moments with Han Junhao. By dawn, she resolves to take action. As the team scrambles to repair the car, Han Junhao grows increasingly anxious. To his surprise, Chen Jiahui arrives at the repair room, lifting his spirits. Though Han Junhao is reluctant to show his vulnerable side and fears disappointing everyone, Chen Jiahui holds his hand and reassures him that the race is not over and that he must believe in his team and himself. She promises to face the challenges together with him.
Motivated by Chen Jiahui’s encouragement, Han Junhao takes the track in the partially repaired car. The race is a spectacle, with over twenty cars vying for the lead. Han Junhao and Tang Ben Douzhen remain at the forefront, but Han Junhao quickly pulls ahead, maintaining his lead position.
