The popular TV drama Flourished Peony will finish its first season on January 22, wrapping up with a total of 32 episodes. Fans of the series can look forward to the continuation, titled Jin Xiu Fang Hua, starring Yang Zi and Li Xian.
Unlike the previous show Lost You Forever, which kept audiences waiting for a whole year, Flourished Peony Season 2 is expected to air much sooner. It may debut as early as March or during the summer holidays, delighting eager viewers.

The first season of Flourished Peony was highly praised for its realistic portrayal of the difficulties faced by women during the Tang Dynasty. The show tells the story of He Weifang, also known as Mu Dan or “peony flower.” Born with a weak constitution, Mu Dan was forced into an unhappy marriage with the Liu family. After enduring mistreatment, she decides to divorce her husband and fight for her own happiness. Mu Dan then starts a rare peony cultivation business, meets Jiang Changyang (played by Li Xian), and begins to transform her life.
