Ale discovers another new story in the comic, this time about a character named Yuan San, who is obsessed with science fiction novels and often dreams of being locked in a white room where he hears voices bullying him. After his family sends him for psychological treatment, including hypnosis, his condition improves, and he seems to leave the white room behind. However, Yuan San believes he possesses the power of teleportation; when he puts on his pocket watch, he can move to another location, but his destination is random, sometimes ending up in someone else’s sink, though invisible to others.
Yuan San’s teleportation is not under his control. Once, he inadvertently teleported into a neighbor’s house where he saw the neighbor’s daughter, Michelle, changing a light bulb. Mistaking this for a suicide attempt, he rushed back home and then to her house to “rescue” her, only to find it was a misunderstanding. Michelle, a beautiful ballet dancer, thought he was peeping on her, as there was no other explanation for how he knew what she was doing. Yuan San tries to explain his teleportation, but Michelle thinks he’s mentally unstable.
Yuan San develops feelings for Michelle and practices his “teleportation” to control where he ends up, eventually succeeding. He frequently visits Michelle’s home, and one day, while she’s celebrating her birthday with friends, he hears her wish for an early snowfall. To fulfill her wish, Yuan San researches and builds a small machine that produces cotton-like “snow” when activated.
However, Michelle thinks this gift comes from her upstairs neighbor, Alan. She goes upstairs to thank him, but Alan denies sending any gift and won’t let her in. Pushing the door slightly, Michelle sees a bloody woman on the couch, which shocks her, and she runs home. Alan, fearing exposure, chases after her, intent on killing her to keep his secret. At this moment, Yuan San teleports into Michelle’s house, sees Alan threatening her, but can’t stop the attack since he’s just arrived. He quickly teleports back home, grabs a fruit knife, and returns to Michelle’s house, stabbing Alan multiple times. Instead of being grateful, Michelle screams that Yuan San is the murderer.
Ale, using clues from the comic, rushes to the building where he finds Yuan San seemingly attacking Michelle and Alan. He subdues Yuan San and takes him to the police station. It turns out Yuan San doesn’t actually have teleportation powers; he’s very isolated, has no friends, and spends his days observing others through a telescope. All the events he thought were happening were figments of his imagination. He mistakenly believed Alan was harming Michelle during a theater rehearsal and intervened to “protect” her, which led to Alan’s injury. Michelle and Alan didn’t know him at all.
