Li Zhan took Song Ran to Highway No. 7 where the fighting had already ceased. Both sides had agreed to meet at the military base in Hepu City, where the mercenaries, who had just finished their battle, started showing interest in Song Ran. After some more travel, they came across a beautiful scene with white olive trees, under which they made their wishes. Li Zhan reported the refugee situation to Jiang Lin via walkie-talkie. Song Ran hoped for a positive response, and indeed, Jiang Lin decided to help the refugees, which made both of them very happy. Unknowingly, Song Ran fell asleep and in her sleep, she held Li Zhan’s hand. Li Zhan moved very slowly to not wake her and drove steadily.
Meanwhile, Benjamin discovered some children sneaking into the camp to pick flowers. Pretending to be stern, he let the children go. Just then, he saw Pei Xiaonan arriving. He used the flowers the children had picked to approach her, but Sarin mocked from the side, saying the flowers were stolen. Pei Xiaonan accepted the flowers cheerfully, and Benjamin took the opportunity to invite her to dinner, which she accepted but made him do some hard work since she was there to deliver medicine to the camp. Benjamin thought Sarin was jealous because he liked Pei Xiaonan, but Sarin denied it, claiming he was there for an interview and then left.
