The Way Home 欢聚 officially started filming today, January 15, 2025, with Landi Li and Ci Sha taking center stage. Jiang Xin, Vivian Wu, Xu Yajun, Gao Lu, and Song Ningfeng also join the cast. The drama has 36 episodes and is expected to stream on MangoTV. Hunan TV and MangoTV announced filming, sharing new character posters and a short clip.

According to a brief outline from Douban, The Way Home 欢聚 adapts Yi Shu’s novel Hush and follows the Wu siblings—working in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou—who reunite after hardships. The youngest sister, Wu Buwei, brings a more grounded perspective. She helps her siblings handle family conflicts, revealing hidden truths and mending broken bonds. Their mother, Lin Xiumei, also plays a vital role in healing old wounds.
