Early in the morning, Mai Youge waits outside a hotel to meet Xu Junle. The two begin a new day of exploration. Meanwhile, Han Junhao and Chen Jiahui focus on their respective training and work, seamlessly managing their daily routines like any other Macau resident navigating the next 24 hours.
Noticing the notebook Mai Youge always carries, Xu Junle guesses she has meticulously planned their itinerary. He suggests she relinquish control and follow his lead for the day, experiencing Macau through a local’s eyes. Despite her doubts, Mai Youge trusts him and hops on the back of his motorcycle, embarking on an unplanned adventure. As they ride, the surroundings gradually open up to reveal stunning views.
The pair arrives at the seaside, where the ocean breeze sets the mood. Observing Mai Youge’s usual tense demeanor as she meticulously documents everything through photographs, Xu Junle proposes a 20-question guessing game to lighten her mood. Mai Youge grows increasingly intrigued, and when the final answer turns out to be “Perfect Mai,” she is both surprised and moved.
Xu Junle explains his thought process: though she cannot always be “perfect,” the moments she spends in Macau are absolutely flawless. His words strike a chord with Mai Youge, helping her understand his desire for her to truly relax and experience the city with her senses, rather than through a camera lens.
Afterward, the two stroll through Taipa Village, basking in the sunset and eventually settling on a bench to chat. Mai Youge reflects on how long it has been since she simply relaxed like this. When Xu Junle asks about her dream destination, she mentions wanting to witness a pink sunset in Altai. Though he cannot take her to Altai, Xu Junle brings her to a mountaintop where they overlook Macau’s shimmering lights. While it’s not the pink sunset she dreamed of, the golden sea of lights beneath them is breathtaking in its own right.
On their return, Xu Junle surprises Mai Youge with an impromptu stop at an outdoor concert, where the lead singer happens to be a friend of his father. The lively atmosphere draws Mai Youge into the celebration. Initially reserved, she eventually lets loose and joins the crowd in dancing, captivated by the spirited energy around her.
Meanwhile, Chen Jiahui accompanies Isabella to a bar, where they coincidentally run into Han Junhao. The two enjoy a lively dance and plan to grab drinks together, but their evening takes a turn when Ella interrupts. Although Han Junhao has no prior connection with Ella, Chen Jiahui misinterprets the situation and assumes Han Junhao is a playboy. Frustrated, she leaves the bar with Isabella, while Han Junhao, irritated by Ella’s persistence, storms off in his car.
As the day draws to a close, Xu Junle personally escorts Mai Youge back to her accommodations and buys her a late-night snack. Knowing her departure from Macau is imminent, he masks his reluctance with a smile and bids her farewell. Mai Youge spends the night preparing her proposal for Wu Kaitong. She is thrilled to receive an email scheduling a meeting in the conference room, eagerly diving into her preparations. However, Xu Junle feels a pang of disappointment when she doesn’t reply to his messages, leaving him with an air of melancholy.
In the Star Vegas Hotel’s conference room, Mai Youge presents her heartfelt proposal to senior vice president Xu Junhao and Wu Kaitong. Her ideas, inspired by the emotional and genuine moments shared with Xu Junle, impress Xu Junhao, leaving him deeply satisfied.
Elsewhere, Yvonne and Chen Jiahui discuss Marlena’s artwork. Yvonne points out that Chen Jiahui’s tendency to stay within her comfort zone and maintain strict control often prevents her from fully understanding Marlena’s authentic creative expressions.
Meanwhile, Han Junhao, preoccupied with thoughts of Chen Jiahui, visits Zhou Huafu’s Chinese medicine clinic under the pretense of treating insomnia. Dr. Huang Zhong identifies his emotional struggles and performs a massage, mistakenly guessing his profession. Coincidentally, Chen Jiahui is nearby and misinterprets Han Junhao’s visit, assuming it’s due to overindulgence. Before Han Junhao can explain, she leaves abruptly. Despite the misunderstanding, Han Junhao learns from Dr. Huang that Chen Jiahui works in an art gallery connected to the Star Vegas Hotel.
